1. Have you been watching the Beijing Olympics? What have been some of the highlights for you so far?
2. Winter or Summer?
3. Which event do you watch and think, 'I would love to be able to do that'?

5. What yet to come competition are you most looking forward to?
6. Have you ever had a brush with Olympic fame?

1. I did see one, solitary swimming event. It was amazing, and made me wish that we could watch it at home.
2. Hmm...I like the skiing, but I also love the swimming. Tie.
3. I would love to be able to run like some of the ultra-insane runners on the Olympics. That would pwn.
4. Yes! I remember Carrie Strugg's insane vault-with-broken-ankle at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Gosh, I was only five, but I remember it.
5. I'm not sure.
6. Nope! I'm completely physically unexceptional.
1. Some. Not very much, but I have enjoyed a couple of Phelps's performances, a little gymnastics, swimming, a little bit of volleyball and we've caught a some of the women's marathon.
2. Summer. Though I like the figure skating in winter.
3. Marathon or slalom skiing. And I get a kick out of curling.
4. Well, Nadia Comaniche, Dorothy Hammill . . . Mark Spitz. Really, my memory isn't that great.
5. ??? I just watch a few minutes of whatever is on, and that is usually enough.
6. I think the nephew of one of my patients was in the last Winter Olympics. I can't remember which event.
1. yes! We are so addicted! When the swimming relay team beat out the French for the gold medal, I would have jumped off the couch and screamed had I not been holding a sleeping infant. It was amazing!!
2. I love both.
3. I would love to do a marathon. Or maybe be the fastest woman in the world (100 meter sprint)!
4. I remember watching Debi Thomas in the 1988 Winter Olympics with my Grandma win the bronze medal in figure skating. I think I mostly remember it because it was with my Grandma, more than becuase it was an amazing Olympic moment.
5. The gmynastics balance beam. I really want Shawn Johnson to get a gold medal!
6. Nope.
