1. Same hair, same pleasing plumpness, same tendency toward distraction, same insomnia.
2. Much quicker to anger, more career oriented, more driven to figure things out.
3. I wish I were as easygoing as she is.
4. Strong faith in God will carry you through.
5. There are so many, but most recently I have been touched by how much she valued caring for Aunt Joyce and how much fun they had together the first time Mom stayed with her.
1. Easy-going, out-going, love to read, insomnia, easily distracted or de-focused, love gardening.
2. Bigger, more assertive, less flexible (she can put her palms flat on the floor at age 75!!), way less domestic, more adventurous.
3. I would like to be as content as she is.
4. Sue said exactly what I was going to: strong faith in God will carry you through!
5. I remember when I had measles at age 6, perhaps, and had to be in a darkened room for several days. Mom read to me, and also, I could hear her singing as she moved around the house: This is my story, this is my song, praising my Saviour all the day long . . .
1. We're both introverted Grammar freak Anglophiles, with the same hair.
2. My mother hates fantasy. I love it.
3. I wish I had my mom's perseverance and cheerfulness.
4. Never open your eyes while you're praying, never say "epitome"--rhymes with "tome," instead of "epitome"--"E-PIT-O-ME."
5. I remember going to England with Mom. That was a heck of alot of fun.
