Friday 5: Imagine

If you...

1. ...owned a restaurant, what kind of food would you serve?

2. ...owned a small store, what kind of merchandise would you sell?

3. ...wrote a book, what genre would it be?

4. ...ran a school, what would you teach?

5. ...recorded an album, what kind of music would be on it?

1. I'd have a Dagwood sandwich bar.
2. I'd sell vintage guitars and musical equipment.
3. I'd write historical fiction set in the time of the Civil War.
4. I'd teach music, science... anything but math.
5. I'd record punk, folk, country, arena rock, classical, folk rock, country rock, blues, R&B, blue eyed soul, waltz, pop, electronica, hard rock, praise, metal, reggae, blues rock, jazz rock fusion, ska, neo grunge, funk, roots rock, rockabilly, psychedelic rock, polka, bluegrass, and hip hop.

1. I would hire all my friends from other countries and serve their specialties. If I HAD to cook, I'd do muffins and sandwiches and soup, lots of soup. Also cornbread. And tea.
2. Hand-picked books, postcards, oh, or maybe I'd just do a 10,000 Villages store!
3. Probably something related to my journals. Or a how-to for prayer or spirituality.
4. I would rather run a women's retreat center and do retreats on a variety of topics: prayer, journaling, weight loss, money, St. Ignatius, dealing with change, etc.
5. I like Sue's idea, also bluegrass/Southern gospel-style hymns, either a capella, or with dulcimer, banjo, etc.
